Surgeons have gotten much better at performing brow lifts. They don’t just cut away a slice of the scalp and lift the rest straight up anymore. They know better how the skin on the forehead ages. A brow lift may also be combined with other procedures to create an overall younger appearance, such as fillers. Using the endoscope
In order to survey the attachment of skin and muscle to the bone of the forehead and decide how to operate, a surgeon makes an incision and inserts an apparatus called an endoscope with a tiny light and tiny camera. What sort of brow lift you get depends on where the sagging is. A lateral brow lift is appropriate when the skin is sagging more around the temples than in the center. An asymmetric brow lift is when the skin is sagging more on one side than on another, and a full brow lift and a three-quarter brow lift are used in slightly different cases when all parts of the forehead need to be lifted. The procedure can also be adapted to preserve the masculinity or femininity of the face. After the surgery, you will need pain medication for one to two days. Swelling and bruising should be gone in no more than two weeks.
