The basics of face lifts

In some cases, shaving the backs of the submandibular glands (two of the salivary glands) will improve the appearance of the patient. A surgeon can let you know if this procedure is appropriate for your particular case.
You should be able to return to normal activity 10 to 14 days after this surgery when the swelling has gone down, but it may be several weeks before your face looks the way you want it to. The deep plane minituck
In a deep place minituck, the same sort of incisions is made along the hairline as in a deep place face lift. The minituck is a better procedure in cases where there is loose skin around the midface, neck and near the mouth, with less fat around the jowls. The muscles and connective tissue of the face and the deposits of fatty tissue under the skin of the cheeks are lifted to create a naturally youthful look that will last a long time.
