How to do rhinoplasty preparation

Rhinoplasty preparation done right
The first step in rhinoplasty preparation in Charlotte NC is to find the right surgeon and talk freely and openly with him or her about what you want and expect from the operation. Picking the cheapest surgery you can find, or going to another country, would not be a good idea — often the reason surgery is so cheap in other countries is that the laws governing medical malpractice favor the doctor more than in the United States. Look for a certified and experienced surgeon in America — the best are those whose practice includes revision rhinoplasty, a more complex procedure.

Stages of rhinoplasty preparation in Charlotte NC
Rhinoplasty preparation happens in stages. Two weeks before surgery, you should stop smoking (nicotine constricts blood vessels and slows healing), stop drinking, and stop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E or herbal supplements. Talk to your surgeon about the medications you already take or should be taking. Also, if you wear glasses, now would be a good time to get some prescription contacts and get used to wearing them. You won’t want anything resting on your nose during recovery.

By the time surgery rolls around, you should already have some things at home to entertain you during your recovery. One day before surgery, you should stock up on beverages and lip balm (you’ll be breathing through your mouth a lot), cut back on salt and make sure you’ll have somebody to drive you home after the surgery.
