Surgery for the hump in nose Charlotte

Getting surgery for the hump in my nose

It’s time to get some surgery for the hump in my nose. I was in Charlotte NC, screwing around with this 3D imaging program that can scan your face and make little changes in it. I tried to see what it would look like with blue eyes, different lips, etc. When I gave it a different nose, I was startled to see that what had always looked like a bland and uninteresting face was suddenly a lot more attractive.

At first I thought I didn’t need surgery for the hump in my nose — that filler injections could sort of smooth out the lines. But it turns out that only works if your nose is big and the hump is small. I’m going to talk with a facial plastic surgeon just to be sure, but I’m pretty sure surgery is going to be needed in my case.

Preparing for surgery

I’ve already made a point of finding out what I’ll have to do in case I do need surgery. I don’t smoke and I’m a little suspicious of herbal supplements, but I take aspirin and ibuprofen for headaches. I’ll have to stay away from those for a few weeks. I’ll also have to adjust to wearing prescription contacts instead of glasses.

Charlotte’s most experienced rhinoplasty surgeon

Dr. Sean Freeman is the most experienced facial plastic surgeon in Charlotte NC. He’s been certified by two different surgery boards, the American Board of Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has focused his practice completely on facial plastic surgery since 1988, and considers straightening a deviated septum to be an essential service of a nose job. Many of his patients have already gotten nose jobs from other surgeons and come to him for revision rhinoplasty to get the results they really wanted.
